Revenues increase 82% with fifth consecutive quarter of profitable growth
Albuquerque, New Mexico 22 May 2006: Optomec, Inc. today announced record results for its first quarter ended March 31, 2006. Revenues increased 82% compared to prior year first quarter results and the Company delivered its fifth consecutive quarterly operating profit.
“In addition to meeting our revenue projections, Optomec also continues to add to its backlog with a number of significant recent orders for both M3D and LENS products, including a substantial order from China” noted Dave Ramahi, Optomec’s President and Chief Executive Officer. “With last year’s investments in R&D, Optomec has built a strong product portfolio to meet the needs of the markets we serve. More recently, we’ve increased our marketing efforts to leverage our leading technology to grow market share.”
